Transport around the Principality of Liechtenstein
The Principality of Liechtenstein has no airport, but is well served by road and rail links. Local airports that serve the country are Zurich in Switzerland (click here for the website), and Friedrichshafen in Germany (click here for the website).
The rail links are operated by the Swiss national railways (SBB) - www.sbb.ch, and the Austrian State railways (ÖBB) - www.oebb.at (clicking on these links will open a new window)
If trains are your passion, Liechtenstein can offer a great base to explore either (or both) countries. Try the Glacier Express that runs from St. Moritz to Zermatt (accessible via Chur from Liechtenstein), or how about the Palm Express bus ride from St. Moritz to Lugano via Italy.
